The Hamilton Burlington Automobile Dealers Association (HBADA), is an association of all-make franchises that is unique in all of Canada. An Association which serves to fill the gap between the larger associations such as the Ontario Automotive Dealers Association (OADA) and the Canadian Automobile Dealers Association (CADA), on matters which are more local in nature.
Through the years we have worked on "good news stories" with the Hamilton Spectator and Burlington Post and other community newspapers. Stories as to why it is better to buy and service your vehicle from a new vehicle dealership in our community. From time to time, our Association has recognized the valuable contributions made to our industry by outstanding Dealers who have served our industry well over the years. Our annual HBADA Sales Award Banquet brings together dealers and industry partners and the year's top sales producers. We celebrate our new vehicle sales award winners with the presentation of trophies. We show our appreciation of their sales excellence in ways that no other such organization in Canada annually recognizes the top sales producers. |

Our annual Christmas Reception and Luncheon is designed to foster goodwill and a connection between fellow dealers in a social way, while serving the community in charitable ways. Our most recent project was to establish an automotive bursary through Mohawk College. Each year, two students are given $1000 towards an automotive college course.
We have just registered the domain name www.hbada.ca to be the location of our new HBADA website. This website will be a method of direct communication with dealers, industry partners and the buying public. This site will be a tool for us to tell our "goodwill stories" directly to consumers. The site will also be an excellent place for dealer personnel to go for relevant news and links to important organizations such as www.omvic.com. The Hamilton Burlington Automobile Dealer Association's mission is; "to represent member Dealers within the Hamilton Burlington areas, working with dealers and industry partners towards the betterment of the industry and serving the community at large." |
